Document Lifecycle at a Glance
All risk assessment documents (riskSpecification type) share the same four-state workflow:
| State | Description | Who Acts |
|---|---|---|
| Draft | Initial authoring and editing. All risk data is entered through risksheet. | Risk analyst / engineer |
| In Review | Under review with approval signatures requested. Default signers are automatically assigned. | Reviewers with project_approver role |
| Approved | At least one electronic signature has been provided and accepted. | Automatic upon signature acceptance |
| Published | Final release for use in the Design History File. | Project lead / release manager |
The approval gate requires at least one electronic signature from a user with the
project_approver role. The solution supports auto-signature, meaning the approver can approve in a single action without a separate manual signature step.Related Pages
